Navigate and operate Microsoft OneNote on macOS using keyboard shortcuts — create and organize notebooks, sections, and pages, edit and format notes, insert content, work with tables, and navigate between notebooks. Use when: user needs to take notes, organize notebooks and sections, format text, insert dates or equations, create tables, or search across notebooks. Environment: Microsoft OneNote desktop app on macOS (native app). The app has a notebook list on the left, section tabs across the top (or left panel depending on layout), a page list on the side, and a free-form note canvas in the center where content blocks can be placed anywhere. IMPORTANT: Enable Full Keyboard Access in System Settings > Accessibility > Navigation for best results.
